William M. "Bill" Hurd March 6, 1928 - October 17, 2014 William M. Hurd "Bill" died at the age of 86 on October 17, 2014. He was born in Missouri in 1928. Bill was a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy for 20 years and was considered a hero. He was married to Ada Hurd for over 30 years in which they resided in Carlsbad. He had many friends and family that loved him dearly and will miss his cheery disposition. He had a huge heart and a passion for philanthropy. We love you, Bill.
